Private Riding Lesson (1 Hour)

Service Description

Bringing a little piece of the country within 30 minutes of Cleveland, our farm provides horse riding in Lake County, OH that is unique. Riders can train to their favorite music in our huge, lit, manicured, enclosed, indoor arena or be out on the wooded trails in seconds. Work your horse inside or go for a jump lesson in our outdoor arena. So many possibilities, so close to the city! Our farm is proud to offer educational excellence for horses and riders of every level and in every discipline we offer. All trainers are experienced in starting young riders and giving them a solid foundation for the future. Our trainers are available for individual private lessons, group lessons, partial training programs or full training programs. Whether you're a beginner or your goal is success in the show ring or simply a journey of improvement, we have a trainer that will help you succeed! Our farm is proud to offer educational excellence for horses and riders of every level and in every discipline we offer. Class Details: Lessons are offered in English and Western Riding disciplines with a strong emphasis on safety, good horsemanship and horse care. Beginner level students will not only be taught to ride, but will also learn to groom, tack and will work with their horse in ground lessons. New students interested in jumping have a maximum jump height of 2ft. Experienced riders will be evaluated and admitted in the appropriate program to suit their riding level.

Cancellation Policy

Lessons MUST be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to qualify for a make-up lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or no calls/no shows will be charged full price for the missed lesson. Students that miss 2 lessons in a row without notice or excuse may lose their weekly spot should trainer have a waitlist for vacancies. If running late to a lesson please contact us, riders more than 15 minutes late with no notice will be marked absent from the lesson. Lessons will be held rain or shine unless cancelled by trainer. If trainer cancels lessons for any reason, including severe weather, students will be given a make-up lesson to be used within the same parameters outlined above. In the event that classes are cancelled, students/parents will be notified via text message. *Please note that in the event BKF is closed for competitions or holidays, make-up lessons will be given for any displaced classes.
